  Born on November 27, 1951, in San Carlos, California, Kathryn Bigelow is a popular filmmaker known for her incredible visuals and heart-pounding action sequences. In 1979, Bigelow moved from short to feature-length films. In 1981, she created The Loveless. She attracted more notice for her next effort, Near Dark. Her next project was 1991's Point Break. After that, she tried her hand at television, directing the miniseries Wild Palms. She co-created the movie The Hurt Locker (2008), for which won an Academy Award for best director—becoming the first woman to receive this honor—and directed Zero Dark Thirty in 2012. A very talented painter, Kathryn spent two years at the San Francisco Art Institute. At 20, she won a scholarship to the Whitney Museum's Independent Study Program. I watched Hunger Games via streaming through my laptop on F-movies however it was free a draw back was the quality was not as good as the cinema therefore hindering me from getting into the vibe to watch the movie however a major positive of streaming is that it is free. A draw back of watching it on the laptop is that you have to stay stationary whilst watching. But it does have a larger screen than a phone giving more detail to the image and your eyes won't be strained. However Hunger games was a fantastic movie with a good plot therefore keeping it interesting and on the edge of my seat due to the element of the unknown. Also there was multiple plot twists so there was never a dull moment. Another bonus to the movie was its cast they all portrayed there roles perfectly allowing me as the audience to feel like it was a real experience. In summary all together this movie was thrilling and smart as it is terrifying with a constant pace allowing it to be engrossing throughout. Ano

I decided to watch the film divergent and I watched it on my phone i watched via a streaming service called Movie Box i would say this is favorable due when streaming you are able to pause the video and come back to it at a later time unlike if i was to watch on TV or in cinema.Also another benefit of watching on phone is you can still be mobile and able to walk around whilst still watching and be able to be comfortable in your own environment.Also another vital bonus of streaming is it is free.However a negative of watching on your phone is you lose the sense of actually watching a movie as in when in the cinema other people will react with you when something pivotal happens also on a phone the image is confined and the audio is restricted on how high it can go.I would recommend you watch this movie in the cinema due to it being a action film sounds are important and in cinema is were the sound would be best also it creates a environment where you react with others in the cinema
